This site aims to explain testing jargon, testing buzz words and terms used in testing industry as simple as possible.
As most of these come from standard definitions, we use the words as defined in glossary published by ISTQB as a way to structure this site.
ISTQB is the "International Software Testing Qualifications Board".
They have did a great job in collecting and defining meanings for each of the several terms used in testing industry.
So, in this site, you will find the ISTQB Glossary of Quality Assurance & Software Testing terms

- we do try and add points on how to use each of these in interviews, however we believe that when you understand these terms/jargon/buzz words better, you will do a better job explaining it in interview in your own words based on you own understanding.
For most part, we cover only software testing conducted as part of Information technology. While some of the concepts explained may be applicable in several other industries and situations, we are only talking about the information technology industry.
